Terms and Conditions

Shipping:
We ship via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, usually within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). If part of your order is not in stock we will ship as soon as possible when it is complete. Please be sure to use the correct shipping address - we are not liable for items sent to an incorrect address.
 
Please advise us via email or phone if you have special needs, such as signature required (additional charge) or if you wish to use your own shipper account. For the shipping times via UPS from our location in Tennessee, please click here.
 
International Orders:
We accept payment through PayPal (www.paypal.com). We will email you with shipping options, costs and our PayPal account. In most cases shipping quotes will be calculated via US Mail in order to reduce costs. Other shipping methods are available on request. Shipment will be initiated once the proper funds have been received.
 
Customs:
All international orders are subject to applicable customs duties and associated assessments and fees. These fees may include Import Duties, Value Added Taxes (VAT) and Customs Clearance Fees. These costs are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser. The shipping charge by On Rope 1, Inc. does not include any of these fees. We will not ship orders as a 'gift' to avoid associated fees.  

Methods of Payment:
On Rope 1 gladly accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Money Orders, Checks, PayPal, approved Purchase Orders, and even cash. Please provide payment through the above credit cards. We charge credit cards at the time the order is shipped, not when they are submitted through the shopping cart. Should the billing address and shipping address not match, we reserve the right to not ship the order to the shipping address given. PayPal is accepted for out-of-country orders.
 
Returns and Exchanges:
Exchanges and returns may be made within 30 days. Errors and discrepancies on a shipment must be reported within 15 days.
 
For exchanges please let us know what you would like as the replacement. The item should be returned intact (in original packaging, pricing and in new condition). This also means that it CANNOT SMELL LIKE SMOKE. If it arrives here and the item smells like it has been around a smoker then we will ship it right back.
 
For returns, as long as the item is returned intact, in original packaging, pricing and in new condition, no smoke smell, we will refund the cost of the item. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. In some cases, there may be a 15% restocking fee.
 
We are sorry, but custom orders or cut items cannot be returned. This includes custom colors or items which we took extra and expensive steps to ensure your satisfaction upon receipt.
 
Your safety is our primary concern. Life support items, such as climbing hardware and ropes, cannot be returned. Harnesses may be returned only if tried on, but never used, and are subject to our inspection. If they show signs of use, are dirty, or smell like a smoker has been around them we cannot accept them for return.
