A beautifully complied guide to the significant caves and karst areas of the United States of America with a 67 page coverage of neighboring countries and regions: Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Carribbean Islands, including the Commonweatlth of Puerto Rico.

This is a 400 page plus book with incredible color photos, indexed by name, with the contents listed geographically. There is a list of the long and deep caves of the USA, with world  comparisons.

This guide was compled for the 2009 International Congress of Speleology. Many authors were invited to participate as they were the most familiar with the caves and karst of their home regions. Participating authors’ full names and addresses are listed.
