Package consists of:

  • Battery case compatible with two Li-ion 18650 unprotected rechargeable cells.

This version has:

  • ELSPELEO GRINTA is the smalest caving light we offer, but has the extreme power of 1700 lumens
  • For caving professionals and photographers. Simple to operate with 3 brightness modes and a very wide spot beam. 
    • Brightness levels are approximately:
      • 100 lumens for small spaces or slow movement.
      • 400 lumens for most caving.
      • 1700 lumens for checking leads, photography.
  • Wide spot is important for caving. It allows you to see your feet when caving, a major difference between purpose built caving and more common sport lights. 
  • Lamp and battery box are robust. They are crafted in anodised aluinum and o-ring sealed for waterproofing.
  • Grinta is waterproof for few metters but not rated for diving. (Divers: for professioal deep diving we have the Lunatic model). 
  • Grinta uses one Luxeon V led emitter and the electronics are on a direct thermal path for optimal cooling.
  • The firmware is temperature regulated for long life.
  • Grinta does not need special holders or mount hardware.  It uses two screws for the lamp and two screws for the battery box.
  • The back of the lamp is curved to fit directly on your helmet.
  • This lamp is lightweight and easy to wear. Measured total weight ranges between 270 and 300 grams without cells.
  • The Grinta comes without battery charger and batteries.
  • Grinta uses two unprotected Li-ion 18650 cells; hi-drain are preferred. On Rope 1 recommends these for your best performance.
