The On Rope 1 TAG Suits are built to survive the rigors of hard caving and come back for more. The body of the cave suit is made from 600 denier polyester MagnaTuff, making it durable enough to survive a cave environment, but pliable enough to cave in comfortably without being restrictive. This is a full cut suit, with set-in sleeves. The butt, knees, and elbows to wrist are reinforced with a 1680 denier ballistic nylon for extreme wear protection. Critical seams are triple stitched. The reinforced knees are sewn as a pocket, with velcro closures on the bottom, allowing foam pads to be inserted if you want to incorporate knee pads directly into the suit.
 
The suits feature a light-weight hood at the collar (inside a pocket) and two chest pockets with velcro closures large enough for survey books. There are also velcro tab closures on wrists and cuffs, 2″ wide heavy duty elastic at the waist that gives when you stretch and contracts when needed to keep your suit where it belongs, an inside waist belt, and cinch straps at the knees to secure the suit to your kneepads and keep it where you want it. Knee straps also allow room for movement when climbing over breakdown. The extra long zipper allows easy on and off, and is protected by a velcro flap.

Each suit takes 2 days to make, so during “event season” (May-October) it may take a bit longer to ship depending on availabitilty and our queue.
 
Average suit weight is ~40oz./ or 1136g.

The chart below is sized to allow room for polypro under the suit if needed, and thus may feel a little baggy if put on at home. There will be some minor shrinkage after they have been washed as well.
