OR1 Ultimate Lobster Claws

Lobster Claws are a unique, adjustable set of positioning / safety lanyards designed specifically for program high ropes courses.  Using the claws, the participant can move from element to element on the high ropes course while remaining securely connected at all times to at least one point of contact. 

Each “claw” is fully adjustable from 17″ fully shortened to a maximum length of 51″ fully extended.  The adjustments are made with the use of permanetly tied helical knots tied through the main connection point.  The rope used is PMI EZ Bend 10mm static line.  There are chafe guards on both snaphooks and around the main connection point. 

At the ends of each claw is an industrial-rated, double-action snap hook.  It requires 2 seperate motions to open the gate to disengage it from a connection.

These claws are also popular among Arborists and other tree workers for work positioning lanyards.
