ELSPELEO GRINTA is the smalest caving light we offer, but has the extreme power of 1700 lumens
For caving professionals and photographers. Simple to operate with 3 brightness modes and a very wide spot beam.
- Brightness levels are approximately:
  - 100 lumens for small spaces or slow movement.
  - 400 lumens for most caving.
  - 1700 lumens for checking leads, photography.
Wide spot is important for caving. It allows you to see your feet when caving, a major difference between purpose built caving and more common sport lights.
Lamp and battery box are robust. They are crafted in anodised aluinum and o-ring sealed for waterproofing.
Grinta is waterproof for few metters but not rated for diving. (Divers: for professioal deep diving we have the Lunatic model).
Grinta uses one Luxeon V led emitter and the electronics are on a direct thermal path for optimal cooling.
The firmware is temperature regulated for long life.
Grinta does not need special holders or mount hardware. It uses two screws for the lamp and two screws for the battery box.
The back of the lamp is curved to fit directly on your helmet.
This lamp is lightweight and easy to wear. Measured total weight ranges between 270 and 300 grams without cells.
The Grinta comes without battery charger and batteries.
Grinta uses two unprotected Li-ion 18650 cells; hi-drain are preferred. On Rope 1 recommends these for your best performance.
